I have only hand washed my rig. I recently purchased a foaming attachment that seems to work OK. I use a microfiber rag and just take my time to go over the exterior skin.  I change out the rag with several new ones for each side as to not spread sand or grit.

Organizing a space for everything in your rig can be a challenge. I’m still working on storage containers and bins to hold all of my gear efficiently. Recently, I’ve purchased many containers from target and they are from the brightroom collection. The bins are small to fit in bathroom cabinets and tight spaces. What I like is the walls are straight and the corners slightly rounded. These brightroom bins are also stackable.

The best piece of advice I ever received in planning for a trip is to make a checklist. For years, I have been a solo traveler, so the inside duties and the outside duties of setting up camp and breaking down have been 100% on my shoulders. It’s really easy to forget something that can create a major hazard when traveling. I created a checklist called “Ready, Set, Tow.” 

This has been a lifesaver! The other habit I follow is I touch everything on my rig.  I tap the windows, refrigerator vent etc. to be sure all items are locked and safe for travel.
